A client approached us with a clear challenge

The challenge was: replacing an air handling unit on an offshore platform that is constantly exposed to wind, rain, and waves. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁? 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗺𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀.

Our solution

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹 (𝗔𝗜𝗦𝗜𝟯𝟭𝟲) 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁,  specifically designed to be completely watertight and resistant to harsh offshore conditions. Where full welding used to be challenging due to heat input and potential deformation from the TIG welding process, we now leverage advanced laser welding technology. This allows us to achieve extremely precise, clean welds without any distortion.

Beyond durability, we also improved usability. The unit features an innovative filter replacement system, enabling safe and efficient filter changes without the need to enter the unit 🔧.

Yesterday, we successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and the unit is now being prepared for shipment.
